Public Meeting #2 Recap: Brooklyn Branch

public meeting #2

On Saturday, August 20th, we held an afternoon public meeting for the Brooklyn Branch. Originally scheduled to be held at Archwood UCC, we moved the meeting to the branch library’s back meeting room.

Though attendance was light for the meeting, we managed to round up a number of youth at the branch and hold an impromptu focus group for what they like about the library, and what they’d like to see.

If you’d like to see the final slideshow for the public meeting, feel free to flip through below. The presentation sums up the engagement we’ve conducted so far; proposes some initial recommendations; and presents a series of design ideas with a coordinating survey to gauge the priorities of branch patrons.

Please let us know if you have any specific feedback or additional thoughts. We’re drafting our final recommendations with the goal of producing the report within the next month. Please check back soon for more updates!
