The CPL Community Vision Plan is a multi-year process that will engage all 26 neighborhood branch locations. The planning process began in 2014 with four branches, called Group 1:
Upon completion of the engagement process for the Group 1 branches, the design team moved on to the second set of neighborhood branch locations, Group 2:
- Mount Pleasant (Mount Pleasant)
- East 131st St. (Mt Pleasant/Corlett)
- Brooklyn (Brooklyn Centre)
- South Brooklyn (Old Brooklyn)
In Fall of 2016, the design team expanded to Group 3, consisting of five branches, with a projected completion date of June 2017:
- Eastman (West Blvd)
- West Park (West Park/Kamm’s Corner)
- Walz (Detroit Shoreway)
- Union (Union-Miles)
- Hough (Hough)
